In the ever-changing landscape of modern pop, Nathan Angelo shines as a refreshing alternative, embracing the classic elements of popular music and celebrating the backbeat of American tradition. Since arriving on the music scene in 2006, Angelo has captivated audiences across the US with his high-spirited live show and relatable songwriting, independently selling over 40,000 albums and garnering more than 27 million streams on Spotify. Recently, Angelo has landed placements on Netflix’s Love Is Blind, Netflix’s Heartland, NBA’s Pass the Rock, CBS’s The Young and the Restless, and UPTV’s A Very Country Christmas Homecoming.

A profound shift occurred in 2020 when he found himself unable to work or tour due to Covid-19 regulations. Angelo turned to the Bible, reading the Psalms daily. In the midst of global uncertainty, he found immense comfort, strength, and peace in God’s Word. This transformative experience inspired Angelo to write overtly Christian, worshipful songs designed to uplift the Church with the truth, goodness, and beauty found in Scripture. In the process, Angelo created a side-project, called Sound Affections, to be the vehicle to release these new faith-based songs. This new chapter culminated in Sound Affections’ debut full-length album, Refuge & Strength, released on Aug. 7, 2026, serving as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness throughout Angelo’s musical and spiritual journey.
